SUZUKI is evaluating the AI-CAE solution RICOS Lightning to improve the efficiency of automotive aerodynamic development.
Because a vehicle's aerodynamic performance is significantly affected by its shape, it is important to evaluate numerous design variations digitally before building physical vehicles. Conventional fluid simulations, however, require substantial computation time even to evaluate a single design.
SUZUKI is using a RICOS Lightning license to train models and generate predictions for a variety of vehicle geometries. Through this initiative, the company aims to accelerate aerodynamic simulations and establish a more efficient design process.
