DAIKURE has introduced RICOS Generative CAE into the design process for anchor panels used to reinforce slopes.

The required dimensions and load-bearing capacity of an anchor panel vary depending on the site where it will be installed. For non-standard custom products, designers previously had to perform simulations and create drawings while adjusting multiple parameters, meaning that designing a single product could take more than a week.

With RICOS Generative CAE, users enter the design conditions, and the system automatically and repeatedly generates geometries that satisfy those conditions and evaluates their performance. Since its introduction, DAIKURE has established a workflow in which setting the conditions and entering them into the tool takes approximately 20 minutes, followed by approximately one and a half days of optimization calculations to produce design proposals.

In addition to reducing the workload on designers, the system shortens the time required to submit design proposals and quotations to customers and enables DAIKURE to present designs that satisfy a broader range of requirements.
