Suzuki has been evaluating RICOS Lightning to improve the efficiency of aerodynamic development for automobiles.
Because aerodynamic performance is strongly influenced by vehicle geometry, evaluating a wide range of shapes at the digital development stage—before producing a physical vehicle—is essential. Conventional fluid simulations, however, can require substantial computational time for each design.
Using a RICOS Lightning license, Suzuki has trained and evaluated predictive models across various vehicle geometries.
The initiative aims to accelerate aerodynamic simulation and establish a more efficient design process.
